If you’re looking for a special gift to celebrate the birth of a new baby, then our Weighted Memory Bear keepsake is a perfect choice!
Made using your baby’s first clothing, the memory bear is weighted to your child’s birth weight (please note, we can create weighted bears up to 10lbs) to give you a wonderful keepsake bear to treasure forever and remind you of their first few precious weeks. Crafted by hand using our bespoke bear pattern, we can make yours in any colour and pattern you like! Simply choose the clothing you’d like us to use and leave the rest up to us! Our keepsake teddies are hand-made and finished to the highest possible standards, with wooden button joints at the limbs, durable stitching and quality construction.
The Weighted Memory Bear can be customised to your exact specifications with a personalised embroidered message, a personalised fabric heart or a range of clothing accessories, including:
- Scarf: This can be made from one of your items of clothing or alternatively from our own fleece fabric.
- Tutu:Â We use our own netting and ribbon to create your tutu.
- Tie or bow tie: We can use one of your own ties or bow tie and re-size it to fit the bear.
Whether you choose to use a range of patterned baby grows, a selection of tonally coloured vests or a riot of bright leggings and t-shirts, we will need at least nine items of clothing in order to create the Weighted Memory Bear. If you’re sending premature or tiny baby clothing, we will require more items in order to have enough fabric to create your weighted keepsake.
