Baby Memory Bears – What You Need to Know

Our hand made one of a kind Keepsake memory bears are made from your favourite baby grows, baby vests, little ones jumpers, sleep suits and any other special baby items you would like to up-cycle. They make the perfect keepsake for any parent, Grandma and Grandad.

If you would like an extremely special way to treasure your little ones first baby clothes take a look at our weighted memory bears. Our weighted bears use the same pattern as our regular bears with the added feature of your bear weighted to your child’s birth weight. The weighted memory bear is made with a mix of stuffing and glass beads securely sealed in little pouches before being placed inside the bear. They are perfect to remember how your little one was when they were born.

Baby Clothes Bears – What Happens Next

The amount of baby clothes you will need to create your memory bear depends on the size of the bear. Our standard size memory bears require a minimum of 5 items of baby clothes and our large size or weighted bear requires a minimum of 10 items. You’re more than welcome to send more than this recommended amount. If you are using newborn sizes or very small sizes please be aware we will require more items of clothing as the amounts required are based on 6 months old clothes.

Once you have decided which style and size memory bear you would like, simply order online, choose your clothing and post your clothes to us. When we have received your clothes we will start creating your memory bear. If you have any notes or would like certain areas of the clothes used, put a note in with the parcel and we will try our hardest to incorporate your ideas.

Please note, there are some fabrics we cannot incorporate into your memory bears, such as swimwear, plastic raincoats, footwear and extremely thick knitwear. If you’re in any doubt about the suitability of your garments please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us and we’ll happily assist you however we can.
