Bereavement memory bears – What You Need to Know
Our bereavement memory bears come in a variant of styles and options. The Memorial Memory Bear is our original design made as standard. Other options include:
- voice recorder bear
- teddy bear made from ties
- football shirt bear
- photo memory bear
- ashes memory bear.
The ashes memory bear comes with a zip opening on the back and a drawstring pouch for ashes to be placed inside the bear.
The voice recorder bear also comes with a zip opening and a recording device with easy-to-follow instruction to add a sound message to the bear. This could be a recording of a lost loved one or a lovely message to the recipient.
All our bears come in 2 sizes. The standard size requires a minimum of 1 item of adult clothing and the large size requires 2 items. Our memory bears can be made from a range of clothing, including; jumpers, t-shirts, shirts, trousers, jeans, dresses and much more. Clothing items can be mixed and matched and the memorial bears can be either made from 1 single item or in patchwork style – depending on your preference.
Memorial Memory Bears – What Happens Next
Once you have decided which style and size memory bear you would like, simply order online, choose your favourite item(s) of clothing and post them to us by tracked or signed delivery. If you have any requests about the clothing; would like certain items used in certain positions or would like any detail, logo’s or buttons used, let us know in a note and we will try our hardest to incorporate your suggestions.
Our memory bears can be made from different types of materials but please note certain fabrics cannot be used, such as swimwear, PVC raincoats, footwear and extremely thick knitwear. If you’re in any doubt about the suitability of your garments, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us and we’ll happily assist you however we can.

Handmade Unique Teddy Bears You’ll Cherish
All our memory bears are handmade in house using your fabric for the main part of the bear, we usually use our own fleece fabric for the teddy bear’s paws, unless requested differently.
One-of-a-kind bears are hand-cut, stuffed and hand stitched, finished off with natural wooden buttons on the limbs to make them movable.
