Our school memory bears are a wonderful way of commemorating your child’s first year, or last year of school. With the end of the summer term approaching, it is the ideal time to start thinking about ways to recycle school uniform. What better way to keep the memories alive, than to have it made into a memory bear which can be put in display as a constant reminder of your child’s journey through education?
These cute school memory gifts can be made from sweatshirts/cardigans/jumpers/ties/pinafore etc. If there is a school logo on an item of clothing, it can be placed on the paw or the tummy of the bear. Other customisation options include a personalised heart, and optional embroidered message on a paw or accessories such as a scarf, tutu or a re-sized school tie.

School Memory Cushions
Another way of creating memories from school uniform is to send the clothing items to make a school memory cushion. These cushions are stunning examples of what can be achieved by recycling clothing, and we could also incorporate a school tie to create your school memory keepsake. These memory cushions are ideal for displaying on a sofa, favourite chair or bed.
The back of our school memory cushions are constructed using our own fleece fabric, which comes in a choice of colours. There is an opening at the rear to enable you to remove the cushion for washing. Cushions are approx. 40cm x 40cm. Although the memory cushions can be washed in a machine at 30°c, we recommend that they are hand-washed in warm water and left to dry naturally, either on a washing line or on an airer.
